Lure Coursing
Performance Sport for Dogs
Lure coursing is a great sport for dogs of all breeds. The lure is designed to simulate a dog chasing prey, so if your dog has a high prey drive then this is a great outlet for this natural behaviour. The lure coursing is held in a safe, controlled environment and is a fun and non-competitive event. Any dog can join and have a great time as long as they like to chase.
PRICE: $40 PER SESSION
Please note: Lure coursing is not recommended for overweight dogs, bracycephalic breeds or young puppies as dogs are running at full speed trying to catch their ‘prey’ … it is both exhilarating and physically demanding so dogs must be in good physical condition to partake.
Scent Work
If your dog loves to sniff then they might like scent work! We invite a special scent work trainer over to the Club to work with small groups of dogs showing you how to lay a scent track, how to guide your dog to find the scent and how to reward once they find their prize.
These events will be held on an adhoc basis depending on the scent work trainer’s availability. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for notifications when an event will be held.

Dogs love the great outdoors. Scents and smells are always changing outside with new grass growing, the change in the seasons, wildlife scents and of course peemails left by other dogs. It’s a fascinating world out there. Not only do dogs love to use their noses to explore but they love to dig, play, chase, roll, and enjoy being part of a pack with their doggy friends. This is all very natural behaviour to them and this is where dogs can enjoy just being themselves.
Our social days and training days encourage this natural pack behaviour all while being safely guided by professional dog walkers and trainers.
